I first met Mr Disu in January 2018 after over a year of trying to conceive while in pain and knowing something was wrong! After my first visit with him he told me what he thought was wrong and what he saw on ultrasound and what needed doing. He is calm and Attentiveespecially as I am so nervous and worried. I have had 2 operations with mr disunow and both times received great care as an nhs patient. Unfortunately I still haven't conceived but I may just be being impatient so I'm seeing mr disu again in April but hope to bring my appointment forward sooner. He was recommended to me and I highly recommend him to everyone for endometriosis and fertility issues. He is the best Dr I have ever come across.

A good friend recommended Mr. Disu to me in December, 2016 and did some research on him (professional qualifications and online reviews mostly) before booking an appointment. I was very impressed with my findings and feedback from his patients, so I booked an appointment to see him. My first consultation with Mr. Disu was in January 2017 and I was not disappointed. He listened patiently to my panicked gibberish (I was quite worried and stressed), and he calmly talked me through the pros and cons of my situation in a way and manner that calmed me down and allayed my fears. He examined me, took a scan and discussed the results with me highlighting various options and solutions available to me. Mr. Disu has been my Gynecologist since then. I find him very attentive, professional, thorough and easy to talk to. He always makes me feel like my well being and comfort are as important to him as they are to me. Mr. Disu came highly recommended to me and I too highly recommend him. He is an expert in Obstetrics and Gynaecology and he is compassionate and kind.

I was so fortunate to have found Mr. Disu. I was so concerned about what seemed to be a small but insistent gynae problem and the NHS appointment was sending me in circles. I was also dealing with a breast cancer issue at the time so it was doubly worrying. I saw him at Clementine Churchill and felt immediately reassured by his warm approach and simple straightforward manner. He is a really intent and observant listener. Questioning and drilling down to the cause and the exact cause as well as all other factors before treatment. I was very very fortunate to have a biopsy that had a relatively simple steriod solution. I think whatever issues you had, you would be confident in getting to the root of it in the most dignified and comfortable manner knowing that you are with an outstanding professional.

I cannot recommend anyone other than Mr Disu for any gynae/obs matters. He provides exceptional customer care and has consistently treated me like a human being from day one of seeing him, initially for infertility issues (over 6 years ago as an NHS patient). He will go above and beyond and is dedicated to working closely with his patients to help them get the best outcome based on their personal situation. He has treated me like a private patient and I was fortunate enough to be able to see him personally at most consultation appointments. He has a great sense of humour and a unique way of making you feel at ease by explaining matters in non-medical terms. He got dealt a 'bad card' when I was referred to him as I came with numerous and quite complex pre-existing medical conditions. I was told when I was in my mid twenties that I would have difficulty conceiving naturally due to my medical history. Mr Disu has been so supportive and attentive, always being so thorough in all his investigations making sure he leaves nothing to chance. It was soon apparent through all the various tests that he had arranged and operations that he carried out (laparoscopy and myomectomy) that I had a whole range of gynae issues which were probable causes for the infertility. This included a number of cysts, polyps, adhesions, endrometriosis etc. (laparoscopy performed 2014) and fibroids, (removed via laparoscopic myomectomy in 2015 - collectively they were size of a typical uterus!). He performed the operations with great care, took time to explain his findings and showed me pictures of what he had found. I was then referred to another hospital for IVF treatment. Unfortunately, the treatment was not successful despite two rounds over the course of a year. In 2016 a miracle baby was conceived naturally...yes naturally and throughout the pregnancy Mr Disu saw me regularly as I was classified as 'high risk' due to my age (mid thirties) and my medical history. The pregnancy was not without its complexities from the early days and I experienced complications in the 2nd and 3rd trimester (feelings of pain and tightening in abdomen which no one could diagnose). When I asked to be seen by Mr Disu to help find out what the issue could be, he very quickly arranged a scan. This showed that I had a thin lining of the uterus and it would be too risky for the baby to continue developing inside the womb. I had to stay in hospital for monitoring to see if there were any changes to my symptoms and a further scan a week later showed no improvement, so the safest option was for a C-section to be performed at 33 weeks. I gave birth to my son who although was an OK weight for his gestation, he needed to stay in neonatal special care for almost 3 weeks due to his prematurity. His prematurity meant numerous hospital appointments to check on his development and associated medical issues related to having a premature baby. Fast forward to now, I am so pleased and blessed to say that our ray of sunshine is now 21 months; a healthy, loving, extremely cheeky and very strong minded special boy who has brought so much joy, happiness and light into our lives. Words cannot describe how thankful and grateful my husband and I are for all that Mr Disu has done for us and continues to even now. He helped make something almost impossible a reality - he really does works miracles!! I am now seeing Mr Disu at BMI Clementine Churchill Hospital as an NHS patient and still receiving exceptional care!

I met Mr. Stewart Disu in Aug 2017 with complains on extreme pain during periods & trouble conceiving despite trying for a long time. I was instantly seen in less than 2 days & after a quick consultation on symtoms, I was sent in straight for an ultrasound and MRI. The results showed massive cysts, adhesions and abnormalities all around the ovaries .. The turn around care has always been so fast it's commendable. Within 4 weeks I was booked in for a laproscopic surgery and was checked on everyday by Mr. Disu after surgery until I was at the hospital. The surgery was clean and I healed really quick. By the next followup I was in significantly less pain during periods. Writing this a year later, I am now 18 weeks pregnant and so much more happier and pain free! Absolutely recommend Mr.Disu for his attention to detail, for amazing turnaround care when I absolutely needed it. He has the ability to put your mind to rest, answers a million questions and strives his best to get you your better self back again.
